Pastor Ezra Penermon, Board President
Pastor Penermon is a licensed, ordained minister with more than 22 years of ministerial experience. He accepted God’s call to ministry in 1998, serving humbly for over 17 years as an associate minister under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. R.E. Price, Senior Pastor of the New Mount Zion Baptist Church in Dallas, TX. Pastor Ezra is a gifted Bible Teacher, skilled Church administrator, and experienced pastoral care professional. Passionate about preparing God’s people for God’s purpose, he has served as a Sunday School Instructor, Minister of Christian Education, Bible Lecturer, Evangelist, and Pastor of Ministries. Before God’s direction in 2020, he returned to his roots in Decatur, IL, to launch Good News!! Christian Fellowship Church’s Pastor Penermon served for five years as an Associate Pastor at Northeast Bible Church of Plano, TX, under the direction of Senior Pastor Robert J. Rice. During that time, he also worked as a Chaplain at Methodist Health System in Dallas.
A bi-vocational Minister during his extensive 30-year business career with Texas Instruments, Inc. in Dallas, Pastor Penermon chose early retirement in 2013 to pursue full-time ministry. In his final executive position as TI Director of Community Relations, he facilitated corporate relationships with municipal governments of Dallas and Richardson, elected officials, multiple Chambers of Commerce, churches, schools, non-profits, ISD mentoring programs, neighborhood HOAs and coordinated TI’s global corporate disaster relief strategy. In previous roles with the company, he served as director of State Education Policy, director of Workforce Development, business systems analyst, project manager, and other technical roles.
Pastor Ezra and Sister Gabby celebrate 38 years of marriage and are proud parents and grandparents of 3 sons, two daughters, and three adorable grandchildren. The Penermons are eternally grateful for experiencing God’s abundant grace, mercy, and blessings. God is Faithful, His Love is Everlasting, His Word is True, and the Gospel of Christ is the everlasting power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes!! (Rom 1:16)
Pastor Penermon holds a master’s degree in biblical studies from Dallas Theological Seminary (2005), a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Dallas Baptist University (1997), and five units of Clinical Pastoral Education from ACPE, Inc. (2018).
Terrence Jefferson, Development
Terrence Jefferson has served as a teacher, coach, recreation, and aquatics director in Shreveport, La., for 15 years. He is a Licensed Trained Provider for the Red Cross. Terrence serves as a Lifeguard and CPR Instructor. He holds an associate’s degree in Arts and Science from Richland College in Dallas, TX. Terrence is a licensed minister of the Gospel.
He has led and driven recreation programs in at-risk institutions in the Shreveport Bossier area, such as the Shreveport Job Corps Center and AMI (American Marine Institution) Kids Caddo. Terrence was instrumental in both of these institutions and led in implementing behavior modification. He has been a featured speaker at graduations, banquets, and luncheons. He is a bible teacher at Word of God Academy in Shreveport, LA. Terrence is also the boys’ basketball coach and the boy’s and girls’ track and field coach.
Terrence and his wife Denitra are members of Word of God Ministries in Shreveport, La. Terrence and Denitra were featured speakers during the church’s 2020 Marriage Conference. Terrence has dedicated his life to teaching the word of God. Denitra leads worship from the platform. Terrence also leads the parking lot and shuttle ministries at Word of God Ministries.
Denitra, his wife, brings an anointed diversity of gifting. She worked as an Assistant Call Center Manager for eight years. Following that assignment, she worked as a Client Support analyst for a governmental software company for 5 years. Her leadership and development over the different teams she managed equipped her for the work of the ministry. For the last four years, she has been an assistant to the project manager and receptionist for Word of God Ministries. Denitra also oversees the operations of Equipped 4 Life, a business that Terrence and she founded. They both are passionate about marriage ministry and seeing generations of people impacted by the Kingdom of God. They have three children and currently live in Shreveport La.

A seasoned professional with 34 years of management experience in corporate America. Her leadership development, processes, and procedures have significantly contributed to the ministry, instilling confidence and reassurance in the team.
Marshall Motsenbocker, Advisor
Marshall Motsenbocker is a licensed therapist (LPC) for the state of Texas. He is passionate about helping those with mental health concerns and those struggling with identity. As a Mexican-American, he recognizes the value and impact of culture. He works with teens and adults to develop healthier lifestyles. Aside from his work, Marshall loves spending time with his family and friends, running, and spending time in nature. He attributes his gifts of compassion, empathy, and sensitivity to his relationship with God.
